ASME Scholarship & Loans, established in 1923 and incorporated as a charitable non-profit organization in 1977, establishes and supports funding to students of mechanical engineering at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. It also supports the objectives of ASME to promote the advancement of the art, science and practice of mechanical engineering.
ASME Scholarship & Loans seeks to establish Educational Funds for the purpose of assisting worthy students in the study of Mechanical Engineering and associated graduate work.
ASME wishes to promote, independently or in conjunction with the society, the advancement of the art and science of Mechanical Engineering and the dissemination to engineers, and the general public, of advances and new developments in Mechanical Engineering.
Students can apply for scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Selection is based on academic performance, character, need and ASME participation.
